I Built a Plugin (and I'm Giving It Away)!

RVRSE is a free, open-source reverse riser / woosh plugin I built from scratch. Load any one-shot sample, and RVRSE gives you an instant tempo-synced reversed, reverbed, stretched riser leading into the hit - a workflow that normally takes 5 minutes in your DAW, done in one click. Plus a playable stutter effect that turns any sample into something surprisingly musical. But RVRSE is more than a plugin. It's my proof of concept - a warmup project before I tackle something much bigger: an open-source sampler for the community. In this video, I walk you through why I built it, the architecture decisions behind it, and where we're going from here. 🔽 DOWNLOAD RVRSE (Free) https://shop.samufl.com/b/5N4vK https://github.com/SamuFL/rverse/rele... 💰 Support the Project (Optional Donation) https://samufl.com/#/portal/support 📧 Report Bugs / Request Features info (at) samufl.com (Subject: RVRSE) Please include your OS, DAW, plugin format (VST3/AU/Standalone), and steps to reproduce. 💬 Join the Discord   / discord   — WHAT'S IN THIS VIDEO — 0:00 — Why I built a plugin and gave it away 4:24 — What RVRSE actually does 5:59 — Full UI walkthrough & stutter effect 11:28 — Architecture & Open-Source Decisions 14:11 — How you can help (testing, feedback, donations) — BUILT WITH — 🔧 iPlug2 Framework (MIT License): https://github.com/iplug2/iplug2 Lead developer: Oli Larkin — https://github.com/olilarkin iPlug2 website: https://iplug2.github.io — MENTIONED IN THIS VIDEO — Decent Sampler by David Hilowitz (free sampler plugin): https://www.decentsamples.com My NI Insolvency Video:    • Native Instruments Files for Insolvency: T...   Suno AI: https://suno.com ACE Studio: https://acestudio.ai/ — MORE FROM ME — 🎵 My Shop (Decent Sampler instruments & more): https://shop.samufl.com 📰 Newsletter: https://samufl.com/#/portal/signup #RVRSE #FreePlugin #OpenSource #AudioPlugin #ReverseReverb #VST3 #iPlug2 #MusicProduction #SoundDesign #DAW #Cubase #SampleInstruments #IndieDevAudio #PluginDevelopment #OpenSampler #MusicTech
