AOS (AIR/OIL SEPARATOR) SERVICE on your Fiat 500 Abarth (or any 1.4l turbo engine) - HOW TO!

This video shows you how to service your Air/Oil Separator (AOS) on your Fiat 500 Abarth. This also applies to the Fiat 500L, Fiat 500X (1.4T), Fiat 124 Spider/Abarth, Jeep Renegade (1.4T) and Dodge Dart (1.4T). This service should be done every 30,000 miles or if you experience an oil leak in Cylinders 3 & 4. Very easy to do! You will also need a can of Brake Cleaner (Any auto parts store carries this) The purpose of the Air/Oil Separator is to purge crankcase vapor back into the intake system and into the engine while allowing the engine internals to breath. The O-Ring that is replaced during this service is used to seal the AOS to the Valve Cover. This o-ring is known to become dry and crack, leading to oil leaks.
