TALK_2: S COME… FONTE

In this second talk in the OSINTALK2025 series, we focus on the various disciplinary definitions of the "source" object, investigating its specific internal architecture and observing its agency (behavior) and heuristic aptitudes (search and discovery capabilities within the network of sources). All of this is aimed at creating a "minimal model" (tripartite) of a source that is sufficiently representative yet flexible enough to be adapted to a wide variety of information organizations. 00:00 TALK_2 Introduction 01:23 For an Intelligence of Sources 02:56 “S” as in… source 03:55 Disciplinary Definitions of Sources 04:32 The “Source” in Colloquial Language 05:17 The “Source” in Library Science 05:45 The “Source” in Historiography 06:17 The “Source” in Journalism 06:54 Agency of the Source 08:24 Intentionality (Original and Inherited) of the Source 09:30 Tripartite Architecture of the Source 12:23 Systemic View of the Source 16:11 The Original Properties of the Source 19:22 Heuristics in the Network of Sources ----------------------------------------- Schedule (preliminary) OSINTALK2025: TALK_1 - Monday, October 6, 2025, 7:00 PM -    • TALK_1: VISIONI DI OSINT   TALK_2 - Monday, November 3, 2025, 7:00 PM TALK_3 - Monday, December 8, 2025, 7:00 PM TALK_4 - Monday, January 5, 2026, 7:00 PM TALK_5 - Monday, February 9, 2026, 7:00 PM
