Bio-Note: Mr. Kapil Prasad Kanuri, a Distinguished Alumnus of VNR VJIET and a Dynamic Entrepreneur with an exemplary professional journey, received the Distinguished Alumni Award 2025 in the Category of Entrepreneurial Excellence. An Alumnus from the 2005 B.Tech Mechanical Engineering batch pursued his Master’s in Industrial Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago, USA. He began his career as an Industrial Engineer at Ford Motor Corporation, USA, where he gained valuable global industry exposure. Upon returning to India, he transitioned into entrepreneurship and leadership roles, making significant contributions across multiple business ventures. He is the Co-Founder of Kapil Motors Pvt. Ltd. (Green Honda), Which has grown to become the largest Honda dealership in Telangana, and a Director at Lakshmi Finance & Industrial Corporation Ltd., a listed NBFC. Mr. Kapil Prasad has also played a key role in innovation-driven ventures, including Jarsh Innovations Pvt. Ltd., known for inventing the world’s first AC safety helmet, and Varsha Cars Pvt.
