Hello everyone, this is Goddu. Following last year, I was invited by the Turkish Communications Agency to participate in the “Sofra ve Miras” event, which celebrates Gaziantep Gastronomy Week. Gaziantep, known as Turkey’s gastronomic city, is a globally recognized city, having been designated in the Gastronomy category of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) in 2015. Since 2022, Turkey has declared May 21–27 as Turkish Gastronomy Week and has been celebrating it with various events. This year, the ‘Table and Heritage’ event, held from May 21 to 22, was attended by representatives from public institutions and organizations, scholars, local government stakeholders, journalists, and social media content creators from various countries including Egypt, Korea, and the United States.
