Shrine Wahab Sahib(RH) Khrew shar on. 28-06-2026 #ministryofculture #g20summit #azadikaamritmahotsav Date: 28 June 2026 Grand Finale of One-Month Folk Dance Workshop Held at Shrine Wahab Sahib, Khrew Shar The Kashmir Damali Dance Centre, Gopalpora Zalowa, Chadoora, Budgam, successfully presented the Final Show of the One-Month Children's Folk Dance Workshop today, 28 June 2026, at the historic Shrine of Wahab Sahib, Khrew Shar. The workshop was organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, under the CFPGS Scheme, with the objective of preserving and promoting the rich folk dance traditions of Jammu & Kashmir among the younger generation. The concluding cultural programme featured vibrant performances by the young participants, who showcased the skills and knowledge they had acquired during the workshop. Their energetic and colourful presentations received warm appreciation from the audience. A large number of (pilgrims) and local residents attended the programme and greatly enjoyed the folk dance performances, applauding the efforts of the young artists and the organizers. The audience appreciated the initiative for promoting Kashmir's rich cultural heritage and traditional performing arts. The organisers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Culture, the Shrine authorities, participants, parents, and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the workshop and its grand finale.
