DRUM FILLS: Fun With Dynamics & Fill Endings
Day 2: Here is the requested tutorial of the 2nd improvised drum fill I used in the "6 Stroke Roll Kick-Pause Fill" video. This fill uses some volume control (dynamics) in the beginning, then at the end we throw in a cymbal accent just before the 1 count. These elements can make basic drum fills sound far more musical when applied correctly. Enjoy!
