On Wednesday (June 3rd), at the Coronel Caldeira Training Arena in Guadalupe, the Military Fire Department of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CBMERJ) held the graduation ceremony for the 3rd Class of the 2025 Musician Sergeants Training Course (CFS/MUS). The ceremony was marked by recognition of the effort, dedication, and commitment of the military personnel who completed another important stage in their professional careers. The event brought together authorities from the Corporation's education area, family members, and guests to celebrate the achievement of the new sergeants. Over six months of instruction, the students underwent comprehensive training, which included technical subjects, military physical training, and knowledge related to the various activities performed by the CBMERJ. The training was structured to prepare the graduates not only for musical performance but also for the exercise of the functions inherent to the military career. The training program values ​​the Firefighter Musicians Group (GBMUS) as one of the symbols of the Corporation's tradition and institutional identity. Through music, the military personnel contribute to ceremonies, civic events, and representative activities, strengthening the values ​​of discipline, hierarchy, and esprit de corps that characterize the CBMERJ (Rio de Janeiro State Military Fire Department). During the ceremony, it was highlighted that the completion of the course represents the beginning of a new professional phase, marked by greater responsibilities and a permanent commitment to excellence. In addition to artistic skill, the new sergeants will now integrate even more effectively into the Corporation's activities, carrying with them the mission of serving the people of Rio de Janeiro with dedication and professionalism. The ceremony was attended by the Director-General of Teaching and Instruction, Colonel Alexandre Lemos Carneiro; the Director of Instruction, Colonel Suassuna; and the commander of the Center for Training and Improvement of Enlisted Personnel (CFAP), Lieutenant-Colonel André Freire.
