Estudiante denuncia brutal agresión de su compañero dentro de universidad (2/2)

A 20-year-old Systems Engineering student, identified as José, was the victim of a violent physical assault in the courtyard of César Vallejo University, leaving him disfigured. In an interview with Buenos Días Perú, the victim recounted that his attacker, identified as Tony Alejandro Polanco Borges, is his classmate with whom he shared several courses. The incident occurred in the morning at the end of the academic term, when the aggressor punched him directly in the face. As a result of the impact, the victim's glasses shattered, causing shards of glass to become embedded in his face. The student suffered a deviated septum and deep cuts that required 10 stitches. Delay in Care and Prior Harassment After the attack, the victim spent more than two hours seeking medical attention at a health center, because the university initially took him to a clinic where they could not treat him since he did not have Comprehensive Health Insurance (SIS) or student insurance. According to the victim, the physical assault occurred after a series of verbal harassment and cyberbullying he had been suffering throughout the academic semester. Polanco Borges used WhatsApp groups to incite other classmates to harass him and make derogatory comments. Complaint and Request for Security Camera Footage Given this situation, the victim and his family filed a formal complaint at the Canto Rey police station to initiate the corresponding legal actions.
