Superheroes? Gone. Earth? Invaded. Our only hope? A bunch of supervillains who are probably just doing this to avoid jail time. Welcome to Necessary Evil! The "Necessary Evil" campaign series, created by Pinnacle Entertainment Group, is a Savage Worlds setting where a band of aliens lured the world's superheroes into a cunning trap and killed or imprisoned a vast majority of them. Supervillains are thrust into the role of saving Earth from this alien invasion after all the superheroes were eliminated. The core concept is that villains, despite their character flaws, are the only ones capable of fighting the invaders. The series is structured as a series of campaigns with different levels of villain power, allowing players to experience the story from different perspectives.
