1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 555CI Big Block: Built By Detroit Speed With Pro Auto Custom Interiors

In this video I stop by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors just as they were finishing up this 1970 ‪@Chevrolet‬ Chevelle SS built by ‪@detroitspeed‬. At the beginning of the video the car still hadn't even been completed yet. I was able to catch up with it at the 2024 ‪@GoodguysRodandCustom‬ Columbus event. This Detroit Speed built 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is covered in a dark green metallic with black rally strips, a color combination that it wears well! Steve and the boys out at Pro Auot Custom Interiors, custom built a Eric Brockmeyer designed custom leather interior. They chose a dark colored leather with a light stitch...added some accent lighting to give it a modern look without losing the cool of the 70 Chevelle. This 1970 Chevelle SS is a real deal Big Block SS car, although it's a much bigger BIG block Now! A very cleanly installed 555 CI version making tons of power. As You would expect the suspension is all finished to the same high level as the rest of the car...And of course it has all the latest from Detroit Speed including their branded ‪@BaerBrakesVideo‬ brakes. ..The 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Big Block is a iconic muscle car of the 70's and this one from the 2024 Goodguys Rod and Custom Columbus OH event built by Detroit Speed with a custom leather interior by Steve Holcomb Pro Auto Custom Interiors didn't loose any of that Muscle Car cool...Check it out!!!
