Camping Moon Z23-VC Rocket Stand: Butane Canister Stove Adapter

I saw this originally featured on Paleo Hiker MD’s stove channel and thought I’d give it a try. This stove adapter base allows you to mount a standard canister stove to the base and provide a remote fuel canister for windy conditions and allows you to convert your stove to run on butane fuel. Butane offers similar BTU’s to propane, albeit slightly less, but at a lower cost per ounce of fuel. Also, if you live somewhere that propane/isobutane fuel canisters aren’t readily available, butane bottles are another alternative option. In this video, I briefly compare and contrast this stove base with another one I reviewed awhile back, the MSR Lowdown remote stove adapter, which allows a remote base using standard compact propane/isobutane canisters. Note, these are NOT meant to use Coleman style propane bottles. That’s something totally different, and adapters exist out there for those.
