Today we spent the day tending the fields with various activities. From preparing trellises for tomato plants, clearing caterpillars and weeds from Chinese cabbage leaves, harvesting old cucumbers for seeds, and watering various plants using running water from the rice fields. We also watered the peanuts, which had been planted for a few days, to ensure they would grow well amidst the approaching dry season. At the end of the activity, we were surprised to see watercress growing on its own from the remains of the old plants we had previously thrown away. Proof that nature always has a way of giving new life. We hope this video has entertained, broadened our horizons, and inspired those of you who love gardening and the simple life in the countryside.
