Η Χριστίνα Συριοπούλου και ο Μάνος Ταβλάκης συνεργάζονται σταθερά τα τελευταία οκτώ χρόνια, διαμορφώνοντας έναν κοινό μουσικό λόγο που κινείται με φυσικότητα από την τζαζ έως τη σόουλ. Παρουσιάζουν το πρώτο single από τον επερχόμενο δίσκο τους “Two of a Kind”: το “Route 66”, σε φόρμα ντουέτου — ένα project αφιερωμένο στη δύναμη της πρώτης ερμηνευτικής εντύπωσης στην τζαζ. Η Χριστίνα Συριοπούλου είναι τραγουδίστρια, συνθέτρια, πιανίστρια και εκπαιδευτικός με έδρα την Αθήνα, και μία από τις πιο δραστήριες παρουσίες της ελληνικής τζαζ σκηνής. Έχει συνεργαστεί με σημαντικούς μουσικούς όπως ο Γιώργος Κοντραφούρης και ο Δημήτρης Καλαντζής, ενώ έχει εμφανιστεί σε σκηνές στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Δημιούργησε το καλλιτεχνικό alter ego Atticat και είναι ιδρύτρια του φωνητικού συνόλου WeBop Voices. Ο Μάνος Ταβλάκης είναι κιθαρίστας και συνθέτης με πολυδιάστατη πορεία που γεφυρώνει την κλασική μουσική με την τζαζ. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε διεθνή φεστιβάλ και projects, όπως το IASJ Meeting και το Φεστιβάλ Τζαζ Αλβανίας, και έχει εμφανιστεί με σχήματα όπως το Ionian Jazz Ensemble και το Manos Tavlakis Trio. Το έργο του εστιάζει στη σύνθεση και τον αυτοσχεδιασμό. Christina Syriopoulou and Manos Tavlakis have been collaborating steadily over the past eight years, shaping a shared musical language that moves naturally between jazz and soul. They present the first single from their upcoming album “Two of a Kind”: “Route 66”, performed as a duo — a project dedicated to the power of the first interpretive impression in jazz. Christina Syriopoulou is a singer, composer, pianist, and educator based in Athens, and one of the most active voices in the Greek jazz scene. She has collaborated with leading musicians such as George Kontrafouris and Dimitris Kalantzis, and has performed in Greece and abroad. She is the creator of the artistic alter ego Atticat and founder of the vocal ensemble WeBop Voices. Manos Tavlakis is a guitarist and composer with a multifaceted career bridging classical music and jazz. He has participated in international festivals and projects, including the IASJ Meeting and the Albania Jazz Festival, and has performed with ensembles such as the Ionian Jazz Ensemble and the Manos Tavlakis Trio.
