4th Sandal URS of Hazrath Sultan Chanwar Ali Shah at Kolar

The Glimpse of fourth Sandal Urs of Hazrath Sultan Chanwar Ali Shah, The 4th sandal Urs was celebrated in honor of Hazrat Sultan Chanwar Ali Shah. The procession is followed by a series of religious ceremonies, including prayers, recitations of the Quran, and qawwali (Sufi music). There is also a fair held at the dargah and people gather here with lots of faith. It is a time where people show their faith and ay tribute to Hazrat Sultan Chanwar Ali Shah. It is also a time for people of all faiths to learn about Sufi Islam and its rich history. Here are some of the other activities that has taken place during the 4th Urs: Nishan: This is the ceremony of hoisting the flag Gyarvi Fateha khwani: This is the ceremony of reciting the Quran and offering prayers for the soul of Hazrat Abdul Khader Jilani (Ghouse Pak). Noorani Sandal Fateha : This is the ceremony where people pray daroods and the Khalifa's along with the rightfull heirs offer cleaning of Roza Mubarak Sandal Urs : This is for all the community people to come and offer sandal to the Roza Mubarak Prophets Tabrukath display : Couple of authenticated tabrukath of our Prophets were brought at the time of URS , Khanka-E-Chanwariya: Yearly Khanka which is held at Astana E Chanwariya at the time of Urs. Qawwali: This is a form of Sufi music that is often performed during religious festivals.
