2017 Chevrolet Silverado Remote Dual Oil Filter Installation

This is a DIY Video on how to install a dual remote oil filter setup on your Chevrolet Silverado. This video will work for most all Silverado models from about 2011 until 2018. This install is on my 2017 4.3 Liter Silverado WT. It will attach to your existing filter housing and remote a dual filters bracket just inside the passenger side front tire. This will give you easy access to change the filters out without getting under the truck. You will need several items to make this project work so I have put together a list of parts needed. You will need two. https://amzn.to/2TSrttG Locktite Red https://amzn.to/3e95LZ1 You will need to go to your local tractor supply or farm implement store and have two hoses made to replace the one's inside the Trans Dap kit, they are not good enough quality and they are too short. You will need two hoses that measure 44-inches. Take the Trans Dap kit hose ends with you and give them to the person who is going to make the new hoses. They can match up the hose ends to ensure a proper fit for the dual filter holder.
