Reviews: "I can say from the outset that I'm predisposed to this film. I liked Westerns as a teenager, and I liked color Westerns with recognizable actors. Now, as an older person, I mostly like black and white films, including Westerns. I stumbled across the production company filming this movie while on vacation with my parents in the southern Utah desert in the summer of 1956. I was able to wander around the location and stayed to watch about four takes of a double-shot involving Okeefe and Cabot. After waiting eight months, I saw the film at a local theater and discovered that the plot was much more complex than most. This is not your typical 1950s Western with just one hero. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys character development and appreciates the work of some of the fine talent Hollywood has to offer, both in front of and behind the camera. I would love to find it on DVD."
