Transform your ATL Skills Planning with 3 Mindshifts and 3 Action Steps!

Is your team struggling to develop resources that provide practical support for ATL skills planning and implementation?! The IB Schools of Ontario commissioned this Zoom session to provide guidance for developing useful, effective resources to support ATL skills development in a single IB programme, or across a continuum of multiple IB programmes. Three shifts in thinking about ATL skills are described that provide a foundation for three action steps in developing: a school-customized ATL skill organizational structure, and sets of customized ATL skill "indicators", a school-customized ATL skill strategies resource bank, and a vertical ATL skills map (vertical articulation of the explicitly taught ATL skill strategies), both of which will be invaluable resources for teachers in their planning and implementation of ATL skills in each unit!
