Even though these attacks target different groups, women and LGBTQIA+ people remain among the main targets of hate speech. Still, they are the ones who continue to build political projects committed to a more just, egalitarian, and inclusive society. The trajectories of federal deputy Erika Hilton and city councilwoman Amanda Paschoal (PSOL-SP) are examples of this commitment. Despite being constantly targeted by transphobia and political violence, both work on issues of great popular appeal that directly mobilize the national public debate, such as the proposal to end the 6x1 work schedule.
