Natural Selection - Mark McMorris

Natural Selection has always held a special place in my heart. It represents the purest form of snowboarding—freestyle riding in untouched powder, exactly how the sport was meant to be experienced. After a long season of competing on hard-packed slopestyle courses, this was exactly what I needed. Being back in the mountains, riding natural terrain, and tapping into that creative side of snowboarding reminded me why I fell in love with it in the first place. Even though I didn’t end up on the podium, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this event. Every run, every line, and every moment out there was worth it. I’m already looking forward to spending more time in the mountains and getting another shot at this course.
