U potrazi za izgubljenom rijekom || In Search of a Lost River

U ovom videu istražujemo tok planinske rijeke Krivače, koja izvire u blizini sela Džebari na planini Javornik, u jugoistočnom dijelu teritorije grada Živinice. Rijeka izvire na visini od preko 600 m nadmorske visine i svoj tok usmjerava prema rijeci Spreči. Ukupna dužina toka iznosi približno 10 kilometara. Naš zadatak bio je da pređemo cijeli tok rijeke kako bismo precizno utvrdili njen pravac, analizirali hidrografski sistem i dokumentovali njen sliv. Rijeka Krivača ima više manjih pritoka u vidu potoka koji je konstantno napajaju, što je čini specifičnim i osjetljivim planinskim vodotokom. Ovu terensku aktivnost realizovali smo na poziv profesora dr. Seada Noćajevića, koji planira izraditi stručni elaborat o zaštiti ove rijeke i njenog prirodnog okruženja. Cilj istraživanja je doprinos očuvanju ovog prirodnog resursa i bolje razumijevanje lokalnog ekosistema. Tok rijeke prolazi kroz izrazito divlji i teško pristupačan teren, bogat šumskim ekosistemima, raznovrsnom florom i faunom, karakterističnim za planinska područja sjeveroistočne Bosne. U videu možete vidjeti dio tog netaknutog prirodnog ambijenta, kao i izazove kretanja kroz ovakav teren. Ovakva istraživanja imaju važnu ulogu u mapiranju manjih planinskih vodotoka, koji često nisu dovoljno dokumentovani, a predstavljaju ključan dio lokalnog hidrološkog sistema i biodiverziteta. In this video, we explore the course of the mountain river Krivača, which originates near the village of Džebari on Mount Javornik, in the southeastern part of the municipality of Živinice. The river springs at an altitude of over 600 meters above sea level and flows toward the Spreča River. Its total length is approximately 10 kilometers. Our task was to follow the entire course of the river in order to precisely determine its direction, analyze its hydrographic system, and document its drainage basin. The Krivača River is fed by several smaller tributaries in the form of streams, which makes it a unique and sensitive mountain watercourse. This field activity was carried out at the invitation of Professor Dr. Sead Noćajević, who plans to prepare a professional study for the protection of this river and its natural environment. The aim of the research is to contribute to the preservation of this natural resource and to improve the understanding of the local ecosystem. The river flows through extremely wild and difficult-to-access terrain, rich in forest ecosystems and diverse flora and fauna, typical of the mountainous regions of northeastern Bosnia. In the video, you can see a part of this untouched natural environment, as well as the challenges of moving through such terrain. Such research plays an important role in mapping smaller mountain watercourses, which are often insufficiently documented, yet represent a key part of the local hydrological system and biodiversity.
