The story begins when Rocco Colucci (Sebastián Estevanez), living in Mexico, is celebrating his wedding to Guadalupe (Sofía Reca), and receives a call from his sister Gina (Sol Estevanez), informing him of the heart attack suffered by his father. Rocco has been estranged from him since discovering the double life he was leading with Lili (Silvia Kutica), his mother's best friend, who committed suicide after learning of her husband's betrayal. Rocco travels to Buenos Aires, filled with contradictions, especially regarding the one who was the great love of his life, Malena Menéndez (Carina Zampini), Lili's niece, whom he abandoned because he mistakenly believed her to be an accomplice to the infidelity that led to his mother's suicide. During this time, Malena married and had a child, but her husband later abandoned them. Rocco and Malena's reunion soon takes place, allowing them to rediscover the passion that still lingers between them. Thus, the protagonists must travel a long road to finally celebrate love. In parallel, the story of Vitto (Mariano Martínez), the youngest son from an extramarital affair between Armando Colucci (Rodolfo Bebán) and Lili, is told. Vitto is a womanizing man who works for a moving company. He falls in love with Pía (Eugenia Suárez), a young woman who rebels against the upper class in which she grew up, and who accidentally appears in his life. On the other hand, Ángel (Juan Darthés), Amanda's (Betiana Blum) son, is a kind-hearted man who is a taxi driver by trade, a singer by vocation, and "almost a doctor" by profession. Ángel falls in love with Gina. Throughout each episode, the protagonists of "Camino al amor" will fight for the love that destiny has in store for them.
