The Dancing Devils of San Millán once again paraded through the streets of Puerto Cabello during the Corpus Christi celebration, a cultural and religious event recognized by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Every ninth Thursday after Holy Thursday, the devotees of this brotherhood keep alive a tradition that blends Catholic faith with Afro-Venezuelan heritage. Through dance, music, and their distinctive devil masks, the community safeguards a cultural expression passed down through generations. Although it is one of the younger brotherhoods in the tradition of the Dancing Devils of Venezuela, its roots are linked to the ancient dancers of Turiamo and the history of the coastal communities of Carabobo.
