C36 AMG Horsepower

We took a 1996 C36 AMG Mercedes-Benz to Weistec and put it on the chassis dyno. Even with nearly 500,000 miles on it, the C36 still generated 260 horsepower, which isn't far off from the factory rating of 276 horsepower. We then handed the keys to OPTIMA-sponsored racer, Tanner Foust and had him lay down a lap at Willow Springs Raceway.
