The initial complaint was that it would only turn on to the logo, then go to standby or go into protection mode. Perhaps for experienced users, this isn't difficult, but for beginners like me, it's something new. In cases like this, before determining the problem, we should understand how the unit works. If the Sony gets stuck on the logo and then goes into standby mode, it could be said to be in protection mode. Something is definitely wrong or damaged.
