Cyberpunk 2077 - Combat Cab Confessions - Episode 51 - "City Lights" | Night City Grind

What is going on everybody? Welcome back to The Rat’s Nest! This is Chrome Rat, and we are diving right back into Night City with Valerie for another high-stakes shift of Combat Cab Confessions. We are steadily grinding our way up toward that ultimate million-eddie retirement goal, pulling in premium fares by keeping our taxi service strictly locked to 100% VIP clients. We’ve already secured our aerial vehicle upgrade, but with our weekly mortgage mod hitting us for roughly 100,000 eddies every seven days, our current bank account of 29k means we have to stay on the absolute grind. 🛸 Precision Gyros & The C-Key Lifeline Our first run of the evening took us on a high-altitude transit over to the Arasaka waterfront on the north side. For anyone trying out this vehicle overhaul on your own rig, remember that the 'C' key is your absolute lifeline. Toggling it completely kills your forward momentum, allowing you to re-stabilize and pivot mid-air before you clip a sky-bridge or completely toast your cab's gyros. We managed a smooth descent right onto the docks, pulling a clean fare to start the night. 🌪️ The Boundary Glitch & A Rancho Coronado Lunch Break Things got a little dicey during a 5-kilometer run out to the Sunshine Motel when we accidentally pushed the flight bounds a bit too close to the edge of the map grid. After fighting through a quick boundary-reload glitch on the highway, we pocketed a massive 15,000-eddie tip from a heavily cybered corporate client. To let the heat die down, we parked the cab and took a quick nature hike through the Rancho Coronado housing developments, wrapping up our lunch break by using our immersion mods to grab a quiet plate of sushi at the counter of Capitan Caliente. 🎸 The Multi-Johnny Hallucination The absolute highlight of the shift kicked off after recovering from a quick mid-air flip that left us flying completely upside down over the city center. We pulled down near the viewport for our next extraction, only to have the physics engine completely melt down. When our client hopped into the front seat, Johnny Silverhand phased directly into the exact same coordinates. We had two distinct layers of Johnny glitching right on top of our passenger simultaneously. Between the upside-down aerial recovery and hallucinating a multi-layered rocker boy invading our client's space, the Relic malfunction is officially hitting a whole new level of weirdness.
