GT40P heads Stage 2 ported vs stock flow comparison.

For a while you guys have been asking for a flow video of our Stage 2 ported gt40p heads and although we are extremely busy porting and completing orders we had this video on file so we are sharing it with you. Our stage 2 ported gt40p heads has made up to 380whp on a customers NA 302 combo sporting our Stage 3 Explorer gt40 manifold, our ported 75mm throttle body, cam, ported headers, tune 3.5" Intake pipe, 86' pistons on pump gas. These results are very difficult to get and involves many trips to the flowbench and getting the valve seat angles just right. These are the stock valves and valve sizes that comes with the P heads but the after flow results received our multiple angle vj. Flowed on a 4.060" bore with a 1 3/4" exhaust pipe. Before and after flow testing on the same flowbench, using the same fixtures being flowed the same way is the only way to truly gauge the gains from porting. Anything else is just guessing and not the way we do it. Visit our Facebook business page at Bigdogs porting for tons more information and content. Hope you enjoy the video and please , like, subscribe and share as we greatly appreciate it, thanks!! Here are the before and after flow results; Before: Factory 45 degree valve job. Lift. In/Ex .100. 58/52 .200. 108/91 .300. 153/123 .400. 186/135 .500. 199/136 .600. 196/141 After stage 2 + our 3 angle valve job. Lift. In/Ex .100. 78/64 .200. 137/108 .300. 190/138 .400. 230/156 .500. 230/168 .600. 233/171 The gains are fantastic and total ave flow is right there with many aftermarket heads yet these heads will last much longer!
