BLUE LAGOON Island - Nassau - Disney Dream Cruise

We are at our first port on the Disney Dream in Nassau! And these girls have never seen the beautiful water of the Bahamas, so we are headed to Blue Lagoon Island. This is a 25 minute ferry ride from Nassau but it is beautiful along the way! We were afraid the island would be too crowded but we were wrong. Everyone spreads out and there is plenty of room. We even got lounge chairs in the shade! The beach is very enjoyable as it is smooth sand and the water is shallow. It was quite chilly in March, but it's ok once you are in for a few minutes. After we get back to Nassau, the girls want to do a bit of shopping and had braids put in there hair. All this and we made it back on to the ship just in time. Tonight is the best dining room on any Disney cruise ship, Animator's Palate! This comes to life around you. It is interactive and Crush, from Finding Nemo, was telling us stories, asking us questions, and even had the entire restaurant doing the wave as he swam from one screen to the next!
