Beijing opera suona qupai 京剧唢呐曲牌: "Shui Long Yin"《水龙吟》

The first portion of an instructional video in which a master teaches a group of advanced students how to play a suona qupai from Beijing opera (京剧唢呐曲牌) entitled "Shui Long Yin"《水龙吟》, which is also known as "Da Kaimen"《大开门》. The same instrumental qupai, which is typically performed by a pair of medium-sized suona (唢呐, shawms) of equal size with percussion (luogu, 京锣鼓) accompaniment, is also used in Kunqu (昆曲), China's tradition of classical opera. Probably filmed in Beijing, China, c. 2012.
