Wanda Landowska and Manuel de Falla met in Paris in 1910. There, a friendship and mutual admiration was born, which would be strengthened in Granada in the 1920s. The result of this artistic bond was the Concerto for Harpsichord and Five Instruments, composed by Falla in 1926 and dedicated to the Polish harpsichordist. This recording uses the Grand modèle de concert, the harpsichord built by the Pleyel House for Landowska.
