Galaxy S10e vs Honor View 20 | Side-by-side comparison

Comparing the Samsung Galaxy S10e versus Huawei's Honor View 20 for their software, speed, battery life, camera performance and beyond. I've used both mobiles as my personal smartphone and here's what I like best about each. Samsung's 'Essential' phone costs £669 here in the UK, while the Honor View 20 comes in with a much lower asking price of £499. Despite this gap, the V20 still serves up premium specs; there's not much of a gap in performance and both devices can play PubG with the best detail levels and a smooth frame rate. Likewise, the View really impresses with its camera tech. The 48MP snapper can capture great looking shots even in low light, thanks to Huawei's dedicated Night Mode smarts. The Galaxy S10e isn't quite as impressive in the evening, but it's strong all other times, particularly if you use the Pro controls. And Samsung's handset is our favourite for video, with HDR10+ support and Super Steady stabilisation. Both phones pack in the latest version of Android, although the manufacturers' own UI. This is One UI on the Galaxy and Honor's new MagicUI on the View 20. You get a similar set of features however, including face recognition. Which mobile do you prefer?
