This time, chef and hospitality entrepreneur Freek van Noortwijk takes us to his favorite spots in Amsterdam. We start at his restaurant, Maris Piper, where he tastes and evaluates a new dish: "This is a fun aspect of my job, but unfortunately, I also spend quite a bit of time putting out fires." And that means taking a broken immersion blender to the repair department at Duikelman. And according to Freek, that's the beauty of Duikelman: that many of the items you buy a little further down the road can be repaired here if needed.
