Urdu verb conjugation is regular and very simple. There is no irregular verb in present tense, we use the same rule to conjugate all the verbs. However, Verb conjugation must agree with number of the noun and the gender of the noun. Let’s see how to conjugate Urdu verb in present continuous tense. Here are some hints will help you to conjugate the verbs. The forth form of the verb i.e. ‘ing’. In Urdu language we translate ‘ing’ as “Raha / Rahi / Rahe” and use depending on the subject gender and number. Here we have some examples 1. He is going to school = “Woh school ja raha hai” We are using “raha” because the subject is masculine and singular 2. She is going to school = “Woh school ja rahi hai” We are using “Rahi” because the subject is singular but also feminine 3. Boys are going to school = “Larrke school ja rahe hai” We are using “rahe” because the subject is masculine and plural 4. Some more examples Jennifer is sleeping = “Jennifer so rahi hai” Davie is not sleeping = “David so nahi raha hai”.
