Agisoft Metashape Tutorial

In this video we’ll use Agisoft Metshape to make a CAD model of a train car from a series of photographs. We’ll also create a texture map that can be wrapped around the 3d model to give it a realistic appearance. We’ll begin with a brief overview of photogrammetry, then go over the basics of how to shoot the photos. Then we’ll cover the steps to create the mesh and texture map in Agisoft Metashape. The finished files can then be imported to Unreal Engine, Zbrush, Rhino, or any other CAD program. 0:00 - Intro 0:22 - What is photogrammetry? 1:36 - How to shoot photos for photogrammetry 4:04 - Import photos and make the point cloud in Agisoft Metashape 5:12 - Build the dense point cloud 9:56 - Delete unwanted points and build the mesh 12:15 - Delete faces from the mesh 15:18 - Decimate the model and create texture maps 19:19 - Export
