We sail from Sant'Agata di Militello towards the Aeolian Islands, passing Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Panarea, and Basiluzzo, until we reach Stromboli, the most famous active volcano in the Mediterranean. During the voyage, we witnessed changes in the water color due to possible leaching from quarrying, strong winds of almost 20 knots, anchoring among goats and underwater fumaroles, and finally the nighttime spectacle of lava falling down the side of Stromboli.
