What should have been a straightforward ride in Spain quickly turned into a tiring, and stressful day… Fuel anxiety, a shut petrol station due to a power cut, camera problems (flew off while riding but caught it), route changes / wrong turns and plenty of long, ear bashing and shoulder hurting miles on the Triumph Speed Triple, combined with a late hotel arrival made this a challenging, but memorable day! Not every day of motorcycle touring is epic mountain roads and perfect weather, sometimes you have to get the miles in to reach your goal, and this is the reality of touring.
