Military student candidates are subject to the same academic programs and regulations as civilian students, but in addition, military training, camp, and internship programs are also implemented. Candidates must meet other basic requirements and stages to be eligible to study as military students at the Health Sciences University. Candidates placed in quotas allocated by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) at the Health Sciences University (SBU) on behalf of the Ministry of National Defense (MSB) are invited to the second selection stage. The selection stages in the military student recruitment process at the Health Sciences University (SBU) on behalf of the Ministry of National Defense (MSB) are determined for candidates placed by the ÖSYM Presidency. These stages aim to evaluate various aspects of candidates' suitability for military student placement. Selection phase activities generally include the following main elements: •Document Verification: This is the phase where the necessary documents supporting the information submitted by candidates during their application are verified. Candidates with incomplete documents are expected to complete their documents; otherwise, they may be disqualified. •Physical Assessment: This is the phase where candidates' physical measurements are checked to determine whether they meet established standards. •Personality Assessment Test: This is a test that evaluates candidates' personality traits. •Physical Aptitude Test (PAP): This test consists of various exercises or exercises designed to measure candidates' physical abilities. •Interview: This is an oral examination that evaluates candidates' general abilities, motivation, and suitability for the military student profile. •Hospital Transfer Procedures: Candidates who pass the interview phase are transferred to designated hospitals to receive a medical report stating their suitability for military student status. This report must state "Military Students Can Be Accepted in Other Faculties." •Archive Search and Security Investigation: This is a process where candidates' backgrounds and security suitability are investigated. Excluding the medical report process, these second selection stages generally last two days. On the first day, a Document Check, Personality Assessment Test, Physical Assessment, and Physical Proficiency Test (FYT) are conducted. On the second day, interviews are conducted.
