Stihl 026 Aftermarket BIG BORE Surprising DYNO RESULTS Test Cuts

We put an UNMODIFIED aftermarket BIG BORE cylinder on the Stihl 026 to find the results you may expect by modifying your powersaw with an aftermarket piston/cylinder kit. We have side-by-side test cuts and dyno charts and results comparing to the STOCK chainsaw. There has been no intake or exhaust porting or transfer work on this cylinder and there was no base-gasket delete. The results of the big bore cylinder swap on this chain saw may surprise you! I intend to build this chainsaw to be a sporty firewood saw focusing (a little) more on torque than high RPMs It should eventually make a nice saw for sawing fire wood with a good power-to-weight ratio.
