In traditional Western astrology, the moon sign has been described as representing "inner self," "emotions," "temperament," "true self," and "authentic self." Mademoiselle Ai's "Moon Deficiency Theory" challenged this traditional interpretation. While drawing on these ideas, I approach the moon sign from a different perspective. I believe the moon sign unconsciously evokes anxieties about a lack of the feelings inherent in that sign, leading to patterned reactions.
