Saito Sensei teaches Jo methods and forms 1986

Camera access was quite limited in this location due to all the jo's flailing around, so I had to use the zoom a great deal to get in closer to Saito Sensei. The lighting conditions were also quite horrendous, starting in daylight and as the sun lowered, half shadowing startred, until eventually I had to activate some rather primitive quartz lights. This is that workshop, unedited footage, all in one. As it was originally shot on VHS and that as medium and associated playback technology fades into obscurity, this footage is posted mainly for preservation purposes and for the aikidoists who were present at this workshop.
