It Should Be a Crime Keeping This Place Quiet! 🤯

We had literally never heard of it🤯 After leaving Monterey, we headed down to San Luis Obispo expecting a quick overnight stop... and somehow ended up finding one of our favourite places from the whole California road trip. We checked into the unbelievably quirky Apple Farm Inn (honestly, it looked like something straight out of a fairytale 🏡), demolished one of the best tri-tip sandwiches we've ever had at Firestone Grill, and of course made the mandatory pilgrimage to the legendary Madonna Inn for THAT famous pink champagne cake. 🍰 Next stop... Santa Barbara! 🌴 Not every food stop was a winner (looking at you, Jack in the Box tacos... absolutely rotten 😂), but things quickly improved after checking into Hyatt Place Santa Barbara, heading out for sushi at Oku, a few drinks at Finney's, and soaking up the atmosphere. To round the trip off, we hit Camarillo Premium Outlets, watched the sunset on the beach, and finished the day exactly how every healthy road trip should end... stuffing our faces with Chick-fil-A. 🍔🌅 If you're planning a California road trip, don't make the same mistake we did...
