Nightglow (Himeko) — Honkai Star Rail AMV

I've wanted to edit this song for five years, but never found a way I could make an edit that really stands out until now. (My description in the Starfall edit was a little teaser, haha) Truth be told, this song isn't just about Himeko's death, but also making the most of your future that someone else sacrificed their own future for. It's not just about sacrifices, but also about living to your fullest. In HSR, seeing Motoko sacrifice herself to give a terminally ill child a second chance to grow up to become the very future self she'd dreamed to be? That was the cue that made me inspired to edit this song finally. I hope I've done this song the justice it deserves. When the Himeko in HI3 died, I didn't open that game for months 😭 it was that heartbreaking for me. Taking the very song that played in the scene of her death, then editing it to an AMV about another version of her surviving, gave me emotional closure from that moment finally after all these years. I was crying while editing this, but I'm glad I've done it. I hope both HI3 and HSR players love this tribute. As always, dedicated to Paradox!
