Using Oil Pastels in Coloring Books - 5 Tips and tricks to Create Easy Pastel Art

Tip #2 - Don't blend the pastels until you have applied all your colors. You'll get a nice tones and you can also add more layers. Tip #3 - Color outside the lines. It's all going to look great when you blend. This is optional of course because some people prefer to stay within the line and that's ok. Tip #4 - Look at your coloring page and illustration as a whole instead of separate areas...like a painting! It's inspiring to think outside the box and add elements. Make it your own! Tip # 5 - Continue to add layers on the blended pastels. This will deepen your page and create cool color transitions. Bonus Tip - Add glitter paint to your coloring page! Make it shine a little.
