Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain: Chapter 10 - Light and Shadow
This is the chapter where students are expected to put together all the skills they've learned and draw a self-portrait to compare with the one they drew before they started the course. In Chapter 10, Betty Edwards explains the four components of "light logic," which will allow for shading that will make your drawings look more three-dimensional. Comparing my self portraits before and after studying the lessons in this book, I can say that I have learned something, and I feel a bit of hope that I can get better at this.
