Building Bridges 2026: A Programme Preview with Patrick Odier

In this programme preview, Patrick Odier, Chair of Building Bridges, introduces the 2026 edition of Building Bridges, taking place in Geneva from 6 to 8 October 2026 under the theme: Investable Solutions to Global Challenges. As sustainable finance enters a new phase, the focus is shifting from ambition to execution. In a more fragmented and uncertain world, Building Bridges 2026 will explore how capital can be deployed towards pragmatic, scalable and measurable solutions. The 7th edition will convene leaders from finance, policy, civil society and the real economy across the Summit, High-Level Plenaries and more than 50 Action Events. Key themes include policy, energy security, infrastructure resilience, climate adaptation and nature, artificial intelligence, water, and the role of finance in accelerating the transition.
