Lets Play Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 No Commentary Requiem Difficulty Mod (ENG) (ACT 3, PART 13)

Hello! Welcome to my no commentary playthrough for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This campaign's central feature is a difficulty mod named "Requiem Difficulty", created by user giraldiego and uploaded on Nexus. They asked me to start a playthrough featuring the challenging fights that await players daring enough to install the mod. My job here is to show you that these "challenging fights" are more than possible for players to clear at each stage of the game, and so I'll be walking you through how I was able to do it at each critical step along the way. KEY FEATURES OF THE REQUIEM DIFFICULTY MOD: More enemies! After the Prologue, virtually ALL of Act 1 and 2 had their encounters fully reworked. Most of Act 3 was reworked as well! What's more, as you'll see, there can be up to 4 of them at the start of the fight, (or even more if the main enemy can also summon!) Major enemy stat buffs! All stats were increased- damage, defense, speed, but most of all, HP. You will probably meet nothing that dies in just one hit during Acts 1 and 2 anymore. Get ready to see a whole bunch of attacks by enemies you never got to see in the base game before you killed them. No Enemy Attack hints! Remember those prompts in combat that clue you about what your enemy will do before they strike you? Gone now, replaced with ".", so now you'll have to pay very close attention to the enemies' attacks! Reversed Respawn! (Mostly.) In the base version of the game, it was typical that "trash mobs" would respawn on rest, but any powerful enemies, such as Chromatics, would not respawn on rest. It's the reverse now! Now all weak enemies are dead forever, but most chromatics will return! The only ones not intended to return are the easiest three (Lancelier, Troubadour, Abbest) and generally all chromatics found on the Continent. In exchange, encounters provide a significant boost in XP so the player doesn't fall behind on levels as intended. And many more features!!! As promised, if you are here to enjoy gameplay or story clips without someone talking over the action the whole time, this series is for you! Some other decisions I made about this series you may want to know: 1. All story clips will play in full and I will generally try to let dialogue which is playing on the screen for the first time scroll at a readable speed before clicking ahead. If it's repeat dialogue, I will likely skip at that point. 2. Enemies causing an excessive number of failures (read: over 3, fewer if long fights) will have most the excess cut out. Depending on frequency, I may include a reel of those failures in the future. 3. Act 1 will be short. This playthrough is largely meant to help those struggling with difficult encounters first and foremost. If this is you, my best advice is this: Grab what you need and leave Act 1 ASAP. Run right for Monoco and do not stop until he joins. Two reasons why I'm doing this: One, to show you that all fights before Monoco can be reasonably completed with some effort and dedication, even if lower level than intended at that point. Two, Monoco will make your fights so much easier and safer once you teach him shield powers. 4. I promised giraldiego I would avoid high level end game encounters well before intended in this playthrough. The purpose is to keep my level near most other players throughout the series as long as I can. The rule I was given: If I need more than 30 min to win the fight, I am banned from trying it below intended level. However- if you'd like to see me attempt those grueling fights sooner than intended, don't worry! If there are items I missed in prior clips that don't matter a ton (colors of lumina, low tier catalysts), I will try to grab those between videos so to not make the viewers suffer me treasure hunting more than needed. More important stuff like weapons and pictos will always be shown. 6. All White Nevrons will be spared. It's just not worth it. IYKYK.
