King Crimson - Elephant Talk

This was a fun time in the band. Belew was in great form, turning in a handsome performance with a great guitar break. Often, he’d turn back to his amp to get some feedback out of it, and as the thing howled and complained, Adrian would look up at me and give me a wink as if to say: “what did you think of that?” Cute song, great lyric, and it’s a pretty steady tempo that feels good to me! It’s the sort of thing you’re playing and thinking everything’s OK with the world. Fripp’s little chromatic fill at 3’51” is definitely good news. #billbrufordsearthworks
