The Patriarch of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, His Holiness Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, will officiate the ceremony. The enthronement service, lasting approximately one and a half hours, will take place at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Beirut, Lebanon, on March 25, coinciding with the Feast of the Annunciation, and will commence at 4:00 PM. The event will be graced by Lebanese President His Excellency Joseph Aoun, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of the Coptic Orthodox Church, His Holiness the Catholicos Aram I of the Armenian Orthodox Church, Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, a Greek Orthodox Church representative, His Beatitude the Catholicose Cardinal Baselios Cleemis of the Syro Malankara Catholic Church, various Muslim religious leaders from Lebanon, and a representative of the central government. The newly renovated cathedral will be consecrated on March 24. On March 26, a Holy Synod of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church, presided over by the Patriarch, will be attended by the Metropolitans of the Malankara Church.
