NEW Caltrain Electric Trains

The commuter service CalTrain has recently completed a multi year project to replace its diesel hauled trains with new electric ones. Starting on September 21st of 2024, all of CalTrain's trains between San Francisco and San Jose have used new bilevel Electric Multiple Unit train sets built by Stadler. In this video, we'll talk about the new trains and then take a look at them in action on the Peninsula Rail Corridor.
