The bells of St Menefrida, St Minver, Cornwall

The 6 bells were all cast by The Whitechapel bell foundry in 2006, replacing a ring of six by various founders. The new ring hang in a galvanised steel frame by Nicholson Engineering. They are a good six but suffer with rope noise and knocking in the ringing chamber which makes hearing the bells somewhat difficult. Apart from that and some odd struckness they handle well and are worth a visit. The small village of St Minver is situated just off the B3314 out of Wadebridge and is not far from Rock and Polzeath, which are on the opposite side of the River Camel from Padstow. Tenor weigh's 9-1-11 in G#.
